My name is Brandon Julien. I want to thank you for taking the time to observe my work. Much of my Imagery is influenced by my upbringing. While I don't like to address my childhood too much as I think its relevance isn’t necessarily important. I will however say what inspires me is much of the time and effort my mother put into raising me. I think seeing that really curated how I developed my eye for taking pictures. For me photographs are supposed to tell stories. Most people look at me as the quiet kid but in truth I’m not. My personality is loud and animated. For the most part I feel a lot and empathize with many. That to me is what photography should be. It’s art. I want people to feel just as much if not more; Beyond the surface.
